I have worked within Technology Sales for several years across cyber security, data analytics and within a legal framework capacity. As such I have had a varying exposure to different seniority in the technological world and really enjoy learning from those around me about the technology I was working with and recommending to my clients.
From this I realised the passion I had for technology and wanted to be involved with it to a larger degree than simply consulting the best recommendations from a sales capacity. This is when I began to look at self teaching and was recommended TechReturners as a partnership who would be able to help me understand development in more aspects than just the coding.
Through my roles with channel sales I have a great ability to train new users on the technology and explain in a way that makes sense to them and their business. I also developed skills in training other sales teams on the best ways to sell the product to their clients.
Throughout the course I have learnt skills within:
I have also started a course to learn Python.
With my previous roles I have learnt how to build relationships in a short space of time. Immediate transparency is absolutely key for me and has helped me to maintain strong relationships with the clients and partners I worked with throughout my sales career.
After taking the plunge last year to leave my career in sales and concentrate on learning more about technology I have been so much happier and for me this is key to success. I am looking to be a part of a company that values a true life work balance and has a culture that is inclusive to all. I am keen to work in an environment where support is natural with all individuals so that everyone gets the best opportunity to learn and develop individually and as part of the team.
I love that technology is ever evolving and there is something new to learn all the time and so many different ways to solve a problem. Having such a varied landscape in an industry means that you can face a new challenge everyday and this is something I find very exciting and can't wait to be a part of in a professional capacity.
