I am 39 year old mum of two and I live in Altrincham.

I have spent the last 12 years working at the Christie Hospital as a Medical Physics Specialist. This involves designing and implementing radiation treatment plans for cancer patients using a specialist medical software package.

Outside of work, I am passionate about my health and fitness and have found huge health benefits in practising yoga and cycling. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors whenever possible.

I also enjoy reading a variety of psychology based books with an interest in Child Development and Medical Ethics.

I work in a highly regulated environment where working to an extremely high level of accuracy and compliance is paramount.

Working with a multi disciplinary team means I have the ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and management and explain complex issues clearly and concisely.

Due to the highly technical nature of my role, I have the ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly.

I draft and develop departmental operating policies in order to meet health and safety and compliance regulations.

A proportion of my role is dedicated to teaching and training Under Graduates and Post Graduates from local universities.
