Posted on Jul 5th, 2021 by Sarah

Starting this September, our enhanced Your Return To Tech programme will support tech talent by up-skilling software engineers who have had a career break to return to their career and secure a role with BAE.

The 'Your Return To Tech’ programme encompasses 8 weeks of expert technical teaching on Software Fundamentals and Back End technologies, plus tailored careers support from our talent and coaching teams to help returners back into work.

The programme is funded by BAE Systems and is free for the 16 returners selected. It's delivered remotely via Google Classroom and Zoom sessions, but participants will be within commuting distance of Gloucester, Guildford or Central London as they will be expected to travel to an office location for part or all of each week once they’ve secured a position at the end of the programme.

Applicants must be returning to a career in software development, having previous mid-level experience within this area, and have had no longer than a six-year career break to be eligible for the programme.

Applications for Your Return to Tech BAE September 2021 are open until Sunday 15 August and more information is available here
