The Course is for people returning or entering tech after a career break.

When you are ready to apply you complete a short form, we will then send you a link to upload a 3-minute video about you, don't worry we aren't looking for oscar-winning performances we just want to find out a bit more about you.

Yes, once you have secured a place on the course we will send through online tutorials and tasks for you to complete before starting. It is not a test, this is an opportunity for you to learn the basics of Javascript and familiarise yourself with certain programming concepts before starting the course. We suggest allowing yourself 20 hours to complete the pre-course.

No - while previous technical experience would be beneficial it is not a necessity. We have found that people can bring experience and skills in a variety of forms such as previous career roles and other life experiences which are all transferable.

We have tried to make the cost of the course accessible at £3500, this can be spread into 4 monthly payments. A deposit of £500 is required to secure your place on the course.

The course will be onsite on a Tuesday and Thursday, core hours will be 10-4pm but we will be available from 9-5pm, Wednesday will be remote learning 10 - 4pm, then self learning with support during the remaining time in the week.

We are looking at offering childcare onsite in the future, however in the meantime we have formed a relationship with Kids Allowed, for more details please contact hello@techreturners.com.

The structure of the course allows you to learn a variety of skills required to be part of a technical delivery team. For more information see our course overview.

We do require you to provide your own laptop. We will however, support you with the required software and setup.

Whilst the course is not officially accredited (yet), our coaches have had a number of years (22 years combined) of commercial experience within technical delivery teams and the skills taught are all driven by that experience.

We are located at No 1 Spinningfields, Quay St, Manchester M3 3JE, in the city centre of Manchester, just off Deansgate. The closest metrolink stops are St Peter's Square or Deansgate-Castlefield. The Tech Returners team will support you throughout the course on defining your next steps, and this will never stop, you will always be part of the Tech Returners community.

The outcomes are unique to each returner on the course, and we will support you in defining what this looks like. Options being a career in a technical role ie software developer, tester, a non-technical role in tech ie Product Management, Business Analyst, setting up your own business or further learning.
